Ok, my opinion on the FB reaching out to talk to her. Wrong venue. You've never talked to her on there before and especially because you see her on line you reach out. It feels clingy. And sure that's how she viewed it. Feels a little stalkerish (sorry!). I'm just telling it like it is. If I told a guy I needed space, hadn't been in touch and first time as far as I know you see that me pop online you get in touch for no reason, I wouldn't feel respect for him.
